Keyless entry issue

Hey guys, I just bought a 2008 Sedan, manual transmission and power doorlocks and windows. The key is the smart mini remote; the thing is that my remote does not lock/unlock doors though it starts the engine and opens doors/trunk manually.
I googled about it and found the procedure for entering the programing mode (inserting/removing key twice, closing/opening door twice, etc) but my car won't confirm the program mode by cycle the doorlocks. I'm afraid it might be the ecu module which is responsible for remote unlocking. The remote batt is fine, I tested it.
Any ideas?

I have had this problem twice with my key. Each time I have taken the key to the dealer and they have had to reprogram the key fob so the proper signal is sent from the key fob so car recognizes the signal from the key fob and unlocks or locks the door.
