Hello.

I just bought a Toyota Yaris hatchback 1.3L and it's the 5 door model.

The problem is that certain kind of USB brands do not work. I tried the Silicon Power type with the songs in the required format. They play for about 4 seconds and then stops. Then the next track plays and the same happens like before. I tried a Kenwood USB type with the same songs and they work.

Does anyone know what's the problem with the USB?

The USB is found in the glove compartment.

Thank you and I hope anyone will answer it.

Have you tried different bitrates?
It's imaginable that something can't keep up with the commanded speed (however it's rather unlikely to happen, never experienced something like this)

Thanks for your answer. I have tried the same pen drive to another car and it works. I think it's up to the Toyota USB port that's a problem. Well I have tried a Kenwood pen drive with the same songs and they are playing.

Hello. Thanks for your replies. I would like to ask you about the capacity of the USB. I have bought two types Transcend and Silicon Power and both don't work. I have just spent about 30 dollars and wanted to ask you for some advice before buying.

As the above authors said, I went to buy the above brand. But the latter was 32GB. Does the Yaris hatchback 1.3L 5 doors accepts this kind of capacity? The salesman there said some cars can't mount this type of capacity. The seller does not have 4,8 or 16GB.

Any replies would be very helpful because I don't want to spend any more money on it.

Good question. Usually it should work the 32GB. Toyota rarely tell what brands to use.

Well just wait for more replies to get your answers mate.
