Its time I started my build thread...

Currently working on a 2011 Toyota Yaris Sedan (Vios)
which I call the "Toyota V1" considering it being my first custom Toyota.

List of things done so far...

Blacked out Toyota emblems front and back
Black hub caps (Steel Wheels 15x?? Tires 185/60/15s Black lion tires Front and Good year Rear)
Shaved Toyota and Yaris emblems
Rear seats taken out to reduce weight
HID 8k headlights
Cosmo Racing Cold Air Intake
NST 10% Lightweight crank pulley
Sprint Lowering Springs...

I have future plans for the car and just to make it clear...

I'm customizing this car around my perception and to my standards.
No, I don't do low and slow, No I'm not into just Flash and Glam.

I grew up with loving cars for performance and for the time engineers put into making them what they are today.

So respect me on this build like many others that do it themselves.

Lowering springs installed (Sprint Lowering Springs)

and @ RJAY I am looking into after market dampers, likely Tokico Blues but gotta do my home work on them before making a decision.

The wheels I'm looking to get are Konig Flat-Outs 15x8 or Konig Feather 16x7. I'm looking for wider and lighter wheels due to steelies weighing around 17lbs before tires.

8j or 7j is quite a difference man. I'd reccomend 7j since it's not a particularly heavy car. Also the rolling resistance will be less so you will have slightly better mileage with less wide tires.

My p1 has the stock toyota 6 spoke T-sport rims, pretty good as well, and if you want a bang for buck wheel, might I also suggest you have a look at what "braid" has to offer? I run Braid wheels on my racing car and even the lightweight versions do stand up to a beating very well.

Never heard of Braid wheels but a I'll check those out. I like the Konig Flatout wheels for 2 reasons.

The offset is set at 20 and come specifically at 15x8 only and they have black wheels. I trust Konig cause they have been around for awhile and have alot of history with me. I'll look into braid and my next thing I need to look into is tires. I know what I'm looking for, but gonna search up on em. I need wheels that can atleast take on 80 speed rating. I want to eliminate speed wobble if I take it up on the high way.

So now I got a few more upgrades under the hood as of now.

I've got a new Strut Bar (Tanabe?) there wasn't a brand name on it but same style as Tanabe and I have Megan Racing Headers installed.

So heres the list of mods I have so far...

NST 10% Crank Pulley
Cosmo Cold Air Intake
Megan Racing Headers
Tanabe Strut Bar
Sprint Progressive Lowering Springs

The only thing missing for the whole breathing system is an Exhaust system and I'm gonna do a custom Header Back system with a resonator delete and will try to get my hands on a high-flow cat. converter.

Along with that being finished, I'm gonna be looking for the rest of the aftermarket pulleys to lighten the load on the belt rotation, and one very hopeful upgrade I heard of is tweaking the engine to be able to optimize 93 octane fuel which I've heard from a very skilled mechanic friend that it should add a nice sum of HP which would be great for an N/A build which I would like to keep.

I'll keep you posted on the progress at hand!
