I replaced the driver's door and the install went fine until I switched locks.
I took the lock out of the new door and replaced it with the lock from my old door so that I could continue using one key only for all the locks.
I hooked up the two cables to the latch, tried the key in the lock back and forth and it seemed to work.
I then put the panels back on and shut the door to try out the lock.
THE door WOULD NOT OPEN!
I've tried from the inside and the outside to open it.
I've tried with the key back and forth and still no luck.
I decided to remove the panel but realized that I couldn't with the door closed.
I was wondering if the upper portion of the panel is removable without breaking it.
Anyway, is there someone out there with a solution to my problem that doesn't involve wreaking the panel.
Much appreciated and thank you!!!
