i bought a 2007 yaris sedan and it came with an integrated radio (the face of the radio is also the face of the dash). i want to replace the factory radio with a single din head unit. so i went to the toyota dealership to see if i could order the dash piece for the non-intergrated radio. you can order it and it is $90. except the dealer claims that the dash for the non-integrated radio MAY not fit. from the pictures i have seen it should work. the only thing i can imagine is that the bolt patterns are different. i want to know if anyone has investigated this issue, or even successfully replaced the integrated radio for an aftermarket radio?

$ 90 is pricey
its msrp is about $75
I just had mine delivered and it fits. There is only 2 trim rings available, one is the $75-$90, and the other is about $1100, so youre getting the correct piece.

Wait...you mean I didn't have to pay close to 1200 bucks? :eyebulge:
Just kidding....that sounds right Roberts....I am still torn on if I am going to change out my S head unit...I have kind of grown accustomed to it and like how it looks natural in the dash as opposed to putting in a black unit....and all the silver ones look ghetto. Unless someone has any other suggestions for a silver head unit?
