Where is the transponder chip?

Hi I finally got my used key in the mail and wanted to add it to my Candian 2009 Yaris HB with factory power locks.

I have sucessfully programed the 2nd fob for keyless lock and unlock.

I have the Toyota Smart keymaker OBD tool and was programing it today.
I think all went well but I am not sure I did it right.

I am waiting for a new case from ebay that will let me take the fob guts out of the old keybody and put it in a new flipkey body.

So I wanted to know if the transponder chip is in the plastic key body or in the "guts where the buttons,battery reside.

If the transponder is in the plastic key body then I'll have to cut it out and glue it in the new keybody.

So is the transponder in the part that is in the picture bellow?

Yes it should be in that piece

No. It's in the plastic body attached to the key. There is a slot that it is inserted it and then potted. On non-transponder remote keys the slot is empty.
