Getting car ready for trip to Fla and discovered power outlet doesnt work, I plugged several items into it and none of their usual lights came on,nothing powered up.. :frown:bummer,on these types of trips i like to plug in the satellite radio, and chargers for phone and lap top, GPS etc,no time to bring it to mechanic and its too cold (-20c)to try to replace the unit myself, is there a fuse i could check?
thanks

Be warned that you can overload it.
I don't know what charging a laptop draws, in amps - but it's more than my inverter will carry, at least with my laptop. Sounds like you have a lot of crap going on there.

Thanks
I'll check it out when i get to Fla. as temps around -20 dont motivate me to be crawling around under the dash out in the street..
This winter better be significantly gone by the time i get back from Fla or i'm gonna be depressed big time..
