Hi guys... I've already read the tire and wheel guide but im still confuse on rubbing issues..

2000 toyota vitz (echo) scp10
Tein high tech springs
205/40r17 8j +40 offset (it rubs alot)

I was planning to to change it to a

195/50r15 6.5j +38 offset

Will this still rub?
I appreaciate any information and help..
Thanks..

You'll have 21mm more clearance on the inside, and 17mm on the outside, so that should most likely eliminate all rubbing.

the 8" rim is what's causing the rub issues. Going down to the 6.5 and a 195 should solve everything.
