OIL LEAK FROM FILTER??!?!

If you cant tighten it anymore, just remove the filter either, refit it or get a new one. Then just fill the filter with new oil. Either way, its just like doing a filter change, but without draining all the oil.

Also clean the neck where the gasket seats..

Hi all,

thanks for replies. Yea I made sure everything was superclean prior to screwing new filter on.

So far, i've tightened it back up and it seems to be fine.

Also, I've emailed K&N along with some pics and they've agreed to send me a new one free of charge no questions asked. they said it was "damaged"

On my 1.5 liter the oil pressure sensor is right next to the oil filter. I thought the filter was leaking but it ws the sensor!

Find out where the sender is on the 1.3 and check it out!
