I've been running R81 Immola wheels in the summer for the last year or so without rings and have no issues to report. I use the Gorilla style spline nuts that came with my TireRack wheels as well. CTScott probably has the best solution for avoiding possible problems, though.

Running R81 mini wheels as well with the lug nuts that CTScott linked, 60+ vibration was very noticeable and at 75+ it felt like a jackhammer. After installing the 56.1->54.1 hub rings, its smooth sailing up to 100mph at least.

Wish I could find the Running R81 locally but not much available and people want liek $800-1000 LOL for factory rims.

Those are indeed Imolas. Mine are white, with a splash of brake fluid that chewed through the paint. The real secret is that they're only about 11 lbs.

I would suggest everybody to not bother ordering centering rings.
http://www.hubcentric-rings.com/
56.1-54.1 rings are fragile and break easily (shatter) when fitting wheels.
I have ran different mini wheels so far and have relied on centering feature of standard taper nuts.
One word of caution if you're considering extended tip conical wheel nuts. I believe available tips (extending below the taper) are mostly imperial. Never could find one which would fit (and center) metric bore openings of mini wheels. Thus my use of plain standard taper nuts.
PS: tires fitted are Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3, 500 treadwear, asymetric tread pattern, side-to-side rotation is allowed as they are not directional (permits rotation in a criss-cross fashion).
PS2: true winter tires are a must (and mandatory) in Quebec; these A/S tires are only used during other three seasons.

So what dimensions are these Mini rims(15 with 4x100 bolts? what about ET)? And if it fit to yaris Mk3 gen. without any rear and front spacers and if can use standard bolts? In my country I can get it cheap.

Stock lug nuts work, but I would not want to run them for very long. Mini lugbolts (shown below) are 14mm (versus our 12 mm lugs), so there is quite a bit of slop to the holes, which results in a significant portion of our OEM lugnut taper sitting in the hole.

The lugnuts which I referred to in the link in post #2 above are shown below. They have a much larger tapered section than our stock lugnuts and the "bulge" fills the 14mm to 12mm gap. They were difficult to find since, as mentioned above, most conical bulge lugnuts are not metric.

Your car is looking good. Those bulge-type lugnuts should be OK. At least the larger conical section makes full contact with the taper of the rim hole, whereas with the stock ones there is very little contact area.

Big fan of the mini wheels myself.. but one question how heavy are they? Had a set lined up but he wanted too much for em, set of 4 with only 3 decent tires for $400. Didn't realize there was more to the fitment than just hub centrics though..

It varies by rim type, but the 15" 5 spoke mini wheels that I ran for a while were about 4lbs lighter per wheel than steelies.

Thanks for the advice CT..
I couldn't locate any extended tip nuts which would fit my wheels.
The 0.625" extended tip diameter would not clear my 0.595" rim thru-hole.
So I similarly purchased bulge-type nuts which do cover the 0.800" outer conical area.

OK. So, you have a set that used 12mm lug bolts. Some of the mini rims use 12mm and others 14mm. The ones that I had were from a mini with 14mm lug bolts.

I picked up a set ($440 CDN) of these in silver with pretty much brand new tires on them but they are 175 65 R15 will do for now I guess. Since my Yaris is the nasty Pacific Blue (its the only color that was available at the time in two door after the Japan tsunami other wise had to wait a long ass time for different colors :P) I'll probably paint them white or gold.

Look like I'm gonna have to order lug nuts online as no local tire/wheel shops carries anything lug nut wise. Will be $78 CDN after shipping/border extortion fees for 20 (only packs of 5) of these http://www.jegs.com/i/Detroit+Wheels/306/5395-5/10002/-1
Will post back with photos.

I got 4 sets of the 5 lug kits, didn't need no chrome valves etc.. I don't know about Jegs though lol I had to optioms for shipping. One was standard ground which I know usually from the US is about 5-12 days or the 2 day shipping. Well lol it was 2 days to get the shipment confirmation email and it still gonna take 9 days LOL to get the lugs. So for $8 more I get to have standard shipping anyways.
Looking at Canadain online parts market looks like there's a void to be filled as there's not much in Canada for online car part retailers. WIsh I had a mil or two to start one.

Finally got around to it. En not sure if I like them on a stock height car :P would have been much nicer the they came in 16".
The rear to tuck in quite a bit so maybe a spacer will be needed to make it more flush.

I love the phone dials on a Mini, but you're right - They do look a little small on a Yaris. Maybe if they were white, it would give the illusion of them being larger?

Yah when I first saw them on a mini I was like nice and simple looking. I think its the body height of the Yaris and the tires on there. I think maybe a 50 or 55 series would be much better but the car would have to be lower.
My wife works at a custom spring manufacturer so might get some springs made up. I think they have specs of up to 2006-2008 but don't know off hand if they will fit my 2011.
If I decide to keep them for good then I'll get them painted either white or gold.
Next time the car is loaded with weight I'll take some more shots.

The white ones don't look any larger--it's all about the size of the tires on them. Putting a 1.75-2" drop on makes them look even sillier.

I would't go that big of a drop as I do haul around quite a bit with the car. I'd probably just drop max 1.5 or less if I had the springs custom made.
