So this is my very first post on the forum, I am a owner of a 84 toyota landcruiser and now stock 2007 toyota 4door sedan. I was wondering what would be the basic for improving performance ( air intake, exhaust manifolds, body throttle, ecu management, etc ) and handling ( tein lowering springs, TRD rear sway bars, etc. ). Nothing to extreme for now just go faster and handle better then stock. Thanks for your help, I would appreciate any helpful information.

why?

You pretty much hit them. Add in lightweight wheels and removing interior parts as well. Lightweight pulleys also help too. Now there are all sorts of different companies and pieces for them, you'll have to browse the forum and decide which you would prefer to go with.
