Yaris Meet.

Ive talked to ChinoCharles about this idea and I think it should be planned or organized in the near future. I know on the SRT forum they had a nation wide SRT-4 meet to meet all the guys and stuff from the forum and I think it would be cool to meet all the guys I talk to (also argue) with and see how everybody is.

We can make a reasonable meeting area and have a mini road trip to meet everyone. Even though I think there are more Eastern US members on here which could be easier to maybe make it like the Carolinas or something. Also we can do like a bbq somewhere and maybe a fundraiser or something cool. Give out some YW.com t-shirts and take tons of pics and sorta start a yearly tradition in the yarisworld.

Maybe we all go to the local track where the state we are meeting at and see who is the best driver or who has the fastest yaris in the country. we are all gonna leave the yaris one day but at least we can start and leave the tradition going and hopefully it can get bigger and bigger every year.

Anyway good luck with a nation-wide meet, look how difficult it has been to set up local meets so far... We've seen one California meet, and one Vancouver meet, and a mini Ohio meet...

I'm not exactly sure what you're saying here, Steve. But if there's any chance of a Canadian driving down, I'm guessing this'll have to be on a Saturday night. Or take Monday off or something... that could work..? Hmmmmm... anyhow... long drive! :tongue:

BTW, make sure you have a toque (beanie) and snow tires, because 90% of Canada is frozen.

I was about to suggest ATL for a nation meet up... NOPI nationals would be a great time those who have never been to the ATL to party like rockstars in Buckhead.... Most of my friends stay in Jonesboro or Hampton (like 2 miles from AMS) so got places to stay for a couple ppl, and it is late enough in the summer for everyone to plan ahead... What does everyone think?

We are already having and lil midwest meet at Indy Bash in August (17-19) if anyone is interested

South Dakota works for me. :biggrin: There are some sweet drives out here, that's why the Harley Davidson Sturgis Motorcycle Rally pulls in over 1 million riders in a week. Tight switchbacks with spectacular views; Spearfish Canyon, Needles highway, etc... :thumbsup:
