Couldn't resist . Got it for $15,574 ( includes destination charge ) before trade , taxes , fees , etc.. It would of been $17,386 with destination , 4 floor mats , cargo cover and 4 mud guards . I'll pop in every now and then to liven things up  . We already miss the sedan for the F.E. , ride , roominess and the sporty looks in Barcelona Red :frown: . Coming home we hit a few red lights , many hills , rain covered roads , 2 people and mid 40s . Here are some pictures .

The smarter 1/2 noticed that the 1st post is correct at $15,574 . So , oops again . $17,015 - $750 ( FLEX rebate ) = $16.265 - $300 ( Dealer Discount ) = $15,965 . We got the floor mats ( 4 @ $101 ) , mudguards ( 4 @ $124 ) and Cargo Cover ( $166 ) at no cost . So an additional saving of $391 , thus $15,965 - $391 = $15,574 before taxes , fees , etc..

They still had new 2013's left over? Wow. Assuming it's new since you mentioned destination charge. 2014's have been out for a while which is why I'm surprised. And of course the all new 2015 is right around the corner.

Yes , some dealers have close to 20 '13s on their lots . That could help get a better deal . As stated above , there is no '14 , skipped to '15 for newly designed FIT .

My bad. I didn't know they skipped '14. Kinda surprised they did that since the 2nd gen Fit is still very competitive. And it's not like they launched the '15 Fit super early.

So are you Yaris-Free now?? :iono:
Congrats! We looked at the Fit...didn't like it at all.
Looks too much like a mini-van & really wanted to finally get a Toyota. Completely happy with the Yaris purchase.

The "new" 2015 Fit was released (Sept 2013) in Japan as the 2014 model.

Ah yes, I forgot about that. They get everything before us.

The '13 is quieter than the '11 . Less engine noise when accelerating up hills ,etc.. The '11 only has engine immobilizer , we think the '13 also gets Security System , states it on the front driver side . Here's the results from driving it earlier .

2nd tank of the '13 . Have to work harder to get the gas mileage of the sedan . Miss the big trunk . Was the workhorse .

I forgot that you refill so far away from empty . Great re the type of gauge the Fit has . I don't know if your Fit or the current Yaris has a display for 'miles to empty' (I didn't read that section of the owner's manual of the rental I had)? On my next car, I imagine I'll have to move more toward what you do. I wish I could magically move the 2nd Gen's 'fuel gauge with the bars' to any future vehicle . Thanks for posting this. The lighting looks as though it it is engineered to be as soft/easy/not promoting fatigue re human eyes as possible .

We try to get as close to empty as possible . That usually gives a closer calculated m.p.g. to the display . You can adjust the brightness .

So... what was the bottom line? How much was the actual total out the door cost including everything?
My neighbors have a Fit and really like it. I had considered one, but they don't make a cheap base two door stick shift model.

Got the 0.9 % through Honda . Have to see if the other 1/2 wants to reveal the total amount financed. The payment is $200 .

The '15 Fit has a 6-speed manual in the base model. IIRC, that trim level also has power windows (no hand crank :frown:). Once I see a base manual at a dealer, I'll go sit in one. I want to see how minutely the driver door window can be adjusted. I usually like to drive with that window cracked open ever so slightly. Besides missing the manual transmission, that was my main objection to the power windows only LE (the rental I drove that the other driver's insurance company paid for), namely that the smallest adjustment I could manage to elicit from the power window switch left too big a gap (to suit me) at the top of the window.

Some people are very cautious about what financial info gets out on the net. You can be inadvertently giving credit rating info, which bad guys can target. Some stuff seems innocent enough, but can lead to issues. Better err on the side of caution......too many crazies out there.

are you making a snide comment? <-- "For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged..." Mathew 7:1-5
i make $139 in car payments each month. am i in danger now? of course not. because nobody cares. all of the people who post here how much they paid for their car... are they in danger? of course not.
everyone here is basically an anon, unless they foolishly give out personal information (i don't think hershy has done such), or unless the admin wants to look at your IP. even if he/she does, what they can do with that information is fairly limited. financial hackers target entire IP ranges and it doesn't matter if you anonymously post in forums. they only care about vulnerabilities and weak passwords. personally, i think it's an unecessary risk to keep any financial information on one's computer, but i'm definitely a minority on that front.
... but that's not why i responded the way i did. IT'S HERSHY'S CHOICE as to whether he posts what his payments are and TBH, i have no interest at all in what his payments are. i responded because it irks me to see people have to ask permission for such trifles from their spouses. it's an issue i have with modern western society, so hershy, if you're reading, it's nothing personal towards you. you're just one of many.
finally Shinare... i'm not going to follow this thread down the anger well. get your digs in if you must but i won't be reading them. -unsubscribed-

I like the look of the new Fit. But, after spending some time driving one, there was just too much to dislike about the car.

 Don't want to read that you are contradicting yourself within your own post, eh ?
You quoted the bible re judgement. Shinare,, obviously, was just making a reference to YOUR previous comment (which, I agree with Shinare, was snide) and standing up for/defending Hershey, not intending his comment to be snide.
You fail to see that, within your own post, expressing that it irks you "to see people ask permission for such trifles from their spouses" as you did IS a judgement, and IS, on its face, disrespectful to Hershey. IMO, and I imagine the opinion of others, Hershey has built up a lot of credibility within this forum, and that is just one of the reasons members called you to task/defended him. The fact that, in your 'final' reply above, mention to Hershey that it is 'nothing personal', indicates to me that you KNOW your original comment came off as a personal affront.
Members buy things from other members, and there is a section for local groups to post about meetings, so everyone is not 100% anonymous.
I've said my peace .
