Acura RSX Seats in My 08 HB

Hi All,

I'm looking to get some leather seats into my Yaris. I've looked at the Clazzio covers, but it still doesn't solve the not so great support the stock Yaris seats have. I've seen the threads on here where the MK5 Rabbit seat and various Scion seats have been installed.

I'm wondering if the Acura RSX seats will fit and what I would need to do to get them in... could I in theory both the RSX seats to my yaris frame? What can I do about the passenger airbag/seatbelt sensor?

I think that just about any seat that will fit in the width available could be made to work. Some may require fabricating adapter brackets to bolt them onto the Yaris sliders. For the passenger airbag piece, if you use non-Toyota seats, the simplest method is to use my Occupant Classification Sensor Bypass module, which Micro Image sells.
