 The comments are hilarious.....one leftist from another country who doesn't have the foggiest idea how dear freedom is to patriotic Americans (or just doesn't care) vs a bunch of freedom loving Americans.

I recently bought a used Yaris for my son to drive and he is 29 this year. Before THAT six years ago I bought him a used ECHO when he was 23.

He's never had an accident and drove the ECHO to Seattle (twice).

While seat belts are nice and worth having I believe safety is mostly in your head, not in the structure of the car.

Suppose the person in the F150 drives drunk?

I agree with everyone posting and I remember seeing this study before I purchased my yaris.
Although I would never want to get in a crash in my yaris I think that the standard side airbags would help. I believe this study was looking at the yaris before the side impact airbags were added. Correct me if I'm wrong.

If everybody wasnt stupid/ignorant/wasteful and drove small cars...accidents wouldnt be so badly. Its the mix of big and little that hurts
