hello i just bought a 2009 yaris 5 door hb and i want to do a few things to it the first thing i really want is to get rid of the r.c. car antenna i searched this fourm for shark fin and also ebay but most are just covers and provide no antenna i cant be the first guy who wants this for their yaris so if you guys know anywhere i can order one please let me know thank you

I just saw a vendor booth at Toyotafest that had shark fin replacement antennas. I wasn't interested so I didn't take note of the maker or the price. Just thought I would post to let you know that there is someone out there making such a thing, FWIW.

Are you sure about that?
Any one that I've seen installed are functioning antenna. What 'cover' refers to the fact that they tend to be slightly larger than OEM shark fins since they are designed to cover over the existing antenna base.

try from a Camry or Venza (the new once have it ) ...just see what will fit from Toyota cars .

I've bought a cheap shark fin antenna from the internet. Installed it in like 5 minutes and it looks and sounds fine.

I think the stock setup looks good. Those fins look goofy(imo).
