If so, do they work well.....and do they last ?

My Yaris has tire pressure sensors built in. I thought all Yaris did!

Can't say I like them or if they work well...but I have seen them here at Canadian Tire and Walmart stores

The '07s don't, and I don't think the '08s do either. I think TPMS (for USDM) started with the 2009 Model Year.

Thanks. The price makes me suspicious that they might not be very good, but I'd still like to see them and inspect/read the packaging. I'll check a local Wal-Mart to see if they carry the item.

...order NOW and get a SECOND Set for FREE (plus a small shipping & handling charge for the 2nd set) That's TWO Sets for the amazingly low price of only $19.99!
Seriously, there are quite a few different brands and quality levels. Lots of reports of leaks, people returning to their cars and finding flat tires, etc. Search for 'tire check valve cap reviews' - there are links to numerous sites.
Old school here, using a quality tire pressure gauge & shop air tank here.

I know my 07 doesn't have them thank goodness. I can't stand TPMS.

I don't like the Toyota TPMS either. My thought re a future Yaris = one of the first things I would do would be to search for a thread/post on how to disable THAT system.

I thought it might be a hassle free, intentionally low tech way of being able to see the current PSI without having to take the caps off and use my gauge. However, given your sentence above, I think I'll just throw this in the dustbin of ideas .
Those would not work with the valve stems my wheels require, but Ive been interested in retrofitting my car with TPMS since it did not come standard. I want something like this where it is connected to a real time reader so I can just watch my pressure all the time

Probably better off doing it the 'old-fashioned way' - From what I could find there were several sets of various quality...don't think I would trust them.

Hmmmm.....very intriguing. I also like the voltage monitoring feature.

I think you're right, unless one goes for the product that 1.5 linked to (or something else at that level...Orange product about $130 on Amazon vs the $20 product I linked to).
