View Full Version : Trade? TRD Axle Back Exhaust for something slightly quieter

I recently purchased a pristine TRD Axle Back exhaust. I installed it this weekend while doing an oil change and tranny fluid change on my supercharged 09. After I finished the wife and kids hopped in and we headed off to dinner.

As soon as I turned the key my younger daughter said "Dad, what's wrong with your car?". My 15 year old daughter said "Wow Dad! Why does the Yaris sound like your client's Lotus?" And, my wife said "If you don't fix whatever you did, I am not going to ride in this car anymore!"

So, although I love the sound (especially when in boost), I think that to prevent a set of papers being handed to me by an attorney, I will need to go with something a bit less mean sounding.

So, I am up for offers on trading this wonderful piece of TRD goodness for something a bit tamer sounding.

You and your family never fail to entertain me! Not sure my wife would like the sound either.
