I'm at 106000 miles on my 09 3 door and debating about trading for something plusher in December. Love the mileage, size, exterior style and dependability and am content with the performance of the Mighty Yaris.

I decided to go ahead and buy the rear bar. Installed it last Tuesday. Drove the Cloverleaf numerous times in downtown Houston and was very happy.

The real test? 500 mile round trip to Port Aransas Sunday for an afternoon wedding. 75-80mph. 20mph headwind from the South. Absolutely amazing! One handed all the way. I make this trip monthly to my hometown and know the feeling of wandering from the shoulder to the white centerline. It cured it! The car has just settled down. I was not near as beat at the end of the day, either.

I can't see a downside. Ty Yaris world.

Last year i drove from okc to Big Bend National Park, from Odessa to Alpine i was going between 90-100mph with a headwind, one hand on the steering wheel no problems. Since then i have installed a TRD sway bar and it has been well worth the cost but i have never had a bad a experience with the stock stability going high speeds.

Could be changed-do you have the 15" wheels?. ..or I drive quite a bit and my tires are worn (I'm killing the second set - Yokohamas)

yeah, I drive at high speeds at times and occasionally high winds, but stability has never been a problem ('14 yaris). one hand on the wheel never made me feel concerned. but, remembering my '07 yaris, it definitely felt less stable.

ive thought about the trd rear bar, but just to keep the car flatter in the turns.

the new Yaris is longer in the wheel base that will help in ride ...i for one wish i did my TRD rear sway bar earlier cos its awesome , noticeable difference in ride so glad i got it .

no downside to the TRD anti-sway bar. Decreased understeer and vastly improved highway cross-wind stability.
Gotta love it!
