new owner help ?

Hello to all,

I am a new owner of a Toyota Yaris. I picked it up a few week ago. A 2012 SE manual 5 door hatchback car. It had 23,171 at time of purchase. It now has 24240 on it and I have a maintenance light come up on my display.
The car had been serviced before it left the dealer lot with oil change ect... So how do I find out what is wrong ? Forgive me I come from owning Chevy cars & trucks. I am used to placing a data machine inside the car to give me codes. I put 26 each way on this car per day, so It will see it day to day uses.
Any and all help would be great.

Is the "Maint Reqd" light the one that is on? If so, they just forgot to reset it.

You can do so yourself by changing the odometer to the trip A display, turning the ignition off, holding the trip switch, turn the ignition back on and wait for the numbers to flash. When they get to all zeros, release the switch.
