Very Nice...If you don't mind me asking what type of paint did you use to paint the interior parts that the radio sits between....I was wanting to do this but have no clue which paint would be best....Thanks...

You can use any paint color you wish. It's all in the preparation that'll matter - you should sand the pieces with a 200-300 grit, then a 400 grit, and finally to a 600 grit. The surface should be smooth enough where once you apply primer, the actual paint will adhere to the primer, and then gloss to finish the pieces off.

Short version:
clean pieces, sand, sand, sand, apply primer, paint, gloss.

I used spray paint that was matched to the color of the car. I had t sand down the trim pieces to remove the factory texture and then applied 3 coats of primer, 3 coats of "Super Red V", and then 3 coats of clear. Giving each coat plenty of time to dry before the next coat/color/clear. took me about 3 days for all of it.

looks like it was plastidipped.

nope, i didn't plasti-dip anything on the car.

^quick guide, just remember not to rush any of it, or it wont look as good as you want it to.

Thanks for the responses I appreciate your responses, I should have asked this question the first time, I know the pieces pretty much snap off and I have to unplug the Hazard button and Seatbelt/airbag thingy but do they come out as well or do I need to tape over them to not get paint on them ?? Sorry again for the questions, I believe that is all I need to know, thanks again....

Smokin' deal on a Smokin' Yar !
Good Luck with sale, great pricing and low miles
For me, the hatch and red paint are deal killers
No red cars for me, won't do it
N I love my sedan
But, if I was lookin, only the red paint would have me at bay....
Nice Yar!

I've had it 5 years, and never been pulled over. red means very little as long as you dont give a reason to be stopped.

Sadly, I have your asking price invested in my 09 with double the miles and half the mods. Good deal though, GLWS [emoji106]

yea my asking price is perhaps a little too low, most list for around 10k with twice the miles. back when i first posted the car for sale i was trying to move the car so that i could get a new one, but i have since missed the opportunity to buy the car i was going to get.

I think i may have to hold off on trying to sale until finances balance back out.

it is alright Zen, I still drive it the 4 miles to work every day. not hurting to sale just leaving it out there as an option if anyone is interested.

Actually had some random guy delivering parts at work give me his number to buy my car. Not sure I am in a position to sell it though.
