G'day;
Rotors were toast, removed the first no prob...couple a smacks with a BFH, to break it free then installed two 8mm bolts (I use Seat Belt bolts with T40 head)

Moved to the other; side same process but, installed the bolts and the bloody rotor cracked across the hub face at both bolt holes...oh crap, now what ?
any help would be appreciated

cheers

like u said a big F@#$ hammer lol but if u have penetrating fluid spray some on the hub area also even tho the rotor is cracked i still would use the bolts to try and remove it ...anyhow at this point just swing away just dont hit the studs lol not the best thing for the bearing but looks like not much choice.

A big puller would be safer for the bearing. I ran into the same problem a couple months ago helping a buddy do the brakes on his girlfriend's Mazda 3. We beat the snot out of it for about an hour with a 10lb sledge hammer. That was after heating it with a torch and nailing it with penetrating oil. Then, I remembered that I had a big enough puller, and that popped it right off.

Thanx for the imput fellas;
I took a time out ( the june bugs came along anyway) otherwise I'd
have probably done more damage in that frame o'mind...long story short,
BFH and careful aiming got the job done, mangled one of the chrome wheel knuts, nothin' a grinder didn't fix though

cheers
