When there is nothing in the back the suspension is kinda bouncy, but when the subs are in it feels more balanced. The subs with amp weigh 100lbs. The removed rear seats with spare and tools weigh 150lbs. So even with the subs the yaris is 50lbs lighter than stock.

It's overkill for the cubic feet in a Yaris but to each his own.
I just did a 1 x 10" Sub in back with a 1200w Amp, 4 x 6.5" speakers in doors and rear panels with a 1000w 4-channel amp. Driven at 50% it's loud and the bass punches in the body real good. Leaves me with lot's of space ;)

Surprisingly the box doesn't move much even with hard breaking. I've tested it out it's a heavy box.

I'm not married or have kids and don't transport lots of things so the cubic space is not a problem. I have a 800w amp and new alpine speakers all around. My subs hit hard but nothing rattles and its a very clear quality sound. I like that the subs are under powered with amps so they last longer and the sound is not overflexing, just nice healthy bass.

Yea I braked hard and the subs flew into the front seats and the speaker wire broke and also damaged my amp. Securing the box is a must.
