Good evening yarisworld!

I gladly installed a tachometer in my car. However, I barely noticed (a week later) that my driver's side door isn't responding to my wireless key (other doors respond). In addition to that, my left side mirror isn't responding to the electronic adjuster.

I'm not sure if these two issues are immediate results of the day I installed my tachometer. I want to guess I maybe pulled a wire loose or something under there.

My question is:
How could I trace the problem? What are your suggestions?

Thanks!

I would start by checking the connection at the kick panel (driver's side since this is the side that is not working) The door electrical connections are there.

ie, did you yank any wires out of there while plugging your tach to the ODBII connector?

I was a little rough, but all I did was cut the wire I needed and soldered. Theres no obvious loose electrical connections, any way I can tell specifically which wire?

I don't remember what the 2nd gen kick panel looked like when i had it open before..

but this is what is looks like on a 1st gen.. Whatever plugs there goes into the door.
