I just started working at a new company, and it turns out they manufacture a host of rear bumper protectors, including one for the Yaris, so I figured I'd share.

The protector is thick and durable. It's made by Bushwacker, and is made in the USA right here in Portland, OR. It adheres with tape; installs in seconds.

cool! I don't think we will be able to peel mine off the old bumper although I like the hexagonal format of my old one.

I saw this in person last weekend and it looks very good and durable. I like how it curves over to protect the bumper better than the OEM version for 2007.

One thing to look into: I had one that looked exactly like that a few years back and the thing faded to gray inside of 6 months. I don't know that it was bushwacker but it did match that picture exactly.

These have a limited lifetime warranty and are 100% UV protected to resist against chalking.

Looks like this isn't available for the third gen?

Hmmmm... this looks better than the OEM protector because it hangs over and protects the edge. I'm glad I procrastinated about installing the OEM piece. Something to think about...
Edit: I see that is one of their selling points...

In all honesty, it's very durable.
