Just got back from picking up a new to us 92 Corolla sedan. I will upload pics when I can. Looks like it is the older smaller 4AFE engine. But, it has 147K and was meticulously maintained with all records of any and everything done to it. Before I drove it home on the 800 mile trek (hadn't had 200 miles the last three years), I had my little brother retro fit the AC to 134A and recharge it, and also shake the front end down and slap a couple a tires on her backside. 33 MPG in a 22 yr old car aint bad.....At least now too, I got a car I can put the dogs in and keep my Yar a bit cleaner...
I am already looking at putting a couple a Ultra Racing AE101 bars on it...

Can't wait to see what your Corolla looks like, any chance you can do a comparison between your Yaris and Corolla(performance, economy, handling etc)? After you install those AE101 bars of course.

Trying to upload pics, but cannot. It says I am missing a security token. I tried plain jpeg, and then zipped file...No good.
On another note, on the handling comparison....
Bone stock Yaris is way better than bone stock Corolla circa 1992...
That said, there won't be any amount of bars that will make the Corolla better than the Yaris handling wise.
So, I still want to get at least the strut tower bar, and the rear sway if there is none from the factory, dunno, have to look...
That said, the Corolla definitely feels faster on a zero to 60 scale....Feels like more torque too, but not sure what the spec's are supposed to be.
Economy the Yaris will always be better (wind resistance and the new engine)
I get 29.5/39.5 in the Yar, and 29/33 in the Corolla.

Well, either ironic timing or divine intervention, my son needed a car as his truck was disappearing via rust and what not. So, he is now the owner of said Corolla....Glad I had it for a little bit at least, as I got some of the important stuff attended to, and can re-focus on my Yar. I have since put on a hitch on my Yar. I was looking at some Ultra racing bars, and for the rear bar, went, hmmm, might as well be a useful bar, so hitch it was. Wiring next.
