My 2014 Yaris SE

My Yaris finally arrived and I drove it home today!
The SE models are still manufactured in Japan. I got a 5 speed, and blazing blue metallic.

now some tein s tech for that lower look , trd rear sway bar ..etc lol

That blue is addicting, really sharp. I had a '72 Chevelle Convt. that was a similar blue, a little lighter. Had a lot of comments on the color.

I think I see some dust under the TACH in the 5th photo, could you wipe that off please? :laugh:

I'm excited for ya! Mine has about 7,300 miles on it (2013 L Super-Duper 4 Speed Automatic) It still has that 'new Yaris smell' & it's most 2 YEARS OLD!

Sucks that the USA versions of the SE lack the side skirt. We always get watered-down versions from Japanese auto companies. :(

When I search the U.S. inventory on cars.com, all of the VIN#s I've seen have been from Japan. However, the stock is dwindling and doesn't appear to be getting refreshed.....more fuel to the reasoning that the U.S. will get the 'Mid 2014 refresh' from the factory in France (some form of what you're getting in Canada) that would probably be classified under the 2015 MY.

My 2012 base model was made in Japan.

That is because he is in Canada, with a Canadian-market Yaris SE. :thumbsup:

Mazda did the same sort of thing with the Mazda2 for the USA market (15 instead of 16" alloys, and no side skirt on top trim model)

haha okay.. i didn't realize that.

but the mazda2 GS in Canada does not come with side skirts, nor 16" alloys. At least, not for 2014.

My wife has this color on her '10 base 3 door. My '14 LE is made in Japan. I am currently in Ireland on holiday and there are Yaris's everywhere.
