pillar with tweeter

Yea, I was thinking the same thing. I think it would like nice and OEM is the way to go with mounting tweeters.

The only ones I've seen (in pics, here) have been black. All the US (liftback, at least) models have a light tan colored pillar. Do they make a tweeterized pillar in that color?

Canadian RS models are black/charcoal on the inside. That'd work for me!! :biggrin:

hehe I'd be happy if someone had all the black door panel pieces to replace the tan ones in my USDM yaris. anyone from Canada or any other places have prices (must include with the piece made with tweeter)? hehe

What color is the headliner in the models with charcoal pillars and door inserts?

You would be better off to just go with a custom install on the pillars. It would be much cheaper and look much better. There are several owners who have put the tweeters in the small flat area at the bottom of the A & B pillar trim.

Theres definatly no doubt that the tweeters will fit in the a piller (if i'm correct theres even little marks that show where the stock tweeter hole is) but, IMO, I think it would look better with the grill and the tweeter inside. Just something about that OEM look that keeps robbers away. As far as the pillar color, it would be better if they made them in our USDM tan color, but its not like they are red or anything... It should match the dash somewhat...

I guess it could be painted like people have done on the trim around the stereo and such. These pillars are only available overseas. They aren't available in North America. I wish we could find out a price. Romeo, search around you'll see pics, it looks really good IMO.
