Sorry guys for this post, i've read as much as i could on forum, but still confused.
In the great tread - "Official YARIS wheel & tire guide" is written that for 185/60/R15 stock tires would go 5"-6" rims.
So I went to the shop check new rims. There was much wider choice of 6,5'' rims then 6", and guys there told me that to 185/60/R15 stock tires would 100% woud fit 6,5" rims.
Is that true?
Im just afraid to buy new rims and then realize that they wouldnt fit to my stock tires.
Tirerack.com reccomends 185s for every damn wheel they sell for the Yaris. The concensus around here seems to be that a 185 will fit a 6.5" wide wheel, but that it will look stretched. To be honest, even after seeing pics of 185s on 6.5" wheels, I'm still not entirely sure what that means. Maybe if I saw side by side pics of different tires on the same rim...

i also browsed fews sites and all of them recommended me that for stock tire 6,5" would go.
Technically wheel would be little wider then tire, how could it be stretched?

I sort of dont mind buying 6" wheels, but as i already told the choice of 6.5" much wider, and im not sure i want spend for tires right now :( ;)

Alright, i think i got how they'd look "stretched" after mounting 6.5" wheel. Here its pretty visible http://www.rims-n-tires.com/rt_specs.jsp?postId=906
But i got another question. Wouldn't this "stretched" combination reflect somehow on perfomance of this tire? I mean would it be dangerous for some reason?

185 fits perfectly fine on a 6.5" wheel. You'll also benefit from less tire rollover as compared to the 5" stock steelies.

Yes, agreed, you'll be fine with 6.5 wide. The stock 15 inch steelies are 5.5 inches wide, however, not 5.

Thanks for the correction bud, always assumed they were around 5, so yeah, 5.5 works for me. It's the lame offset that makes them sit so far inside the wheelwell that urks me (especially in the back when you're dropped 2"). :frown:
