Anyone tried a LAB slapbox woofer enclosure?

I'm thinking of getting one of these for my new Morel Ultimo 8's. I think it's cool that someone is selling a tuned box custom done for Morel Ultimo dual 8's

They also claim it's tuned at 33 hz. This would get away for my cars RF of 40 hz, and thats a plus.

Have any of you tried a slapbox?

I would hope that is the case, but I hate to drop $150. on a unknown product.

I could get friends to help with the build of a box, But I'm tired of asking for favors.

I would go with 2 10 L (0.353 CF) sealed boxes!

They sound like HammerShit in the .35 box. Folks that use the larger 10/12" all go up about 30% on box volume. They claim the Morel spec is on the small side.:frown:

It's possible, I don't own any Morel sub, but don't believe everything online; there is a "why" somewhere the manufacture recommends specs, and this hobby it's a trail and error, it also depends on your install, the car, the power and tuning...

I've seen my subwoofers start sounding like $hi-t and after tuning they are the sweetest bass ever.
