I took my car into get serviced the other day, and they rotated all my tires.

Yesterday, when i was coming off highway, slightly pushing my brakes, i noticed that the car just started rattling like crazy, most of the noise was coming from the passenger glove compartment area. It was rattling pretty extremely, as you could feel it vibrating right down to the brake pedal.

Now i tried braking hard doing regular speeds, but the rattling doesn't come up. It only raddle's when the brakes are applied going about 90 plus km/h.

Whats the deal? Do i need to get a re-alignment, or is one of my wheels bent?

Any help is appreciated.

If they really rotated them, then the noise is just from worn tread blocks being run backwards. Tires should just be end-for-ended on the same side.

I cross rotated my tires with no problems the manual says to cross rotate

gonzo, that is usually fine with non-directional tires, but if the tire are directional. they need to stay on the same side. The official service manual shows a picture only of same-side swapping for the US models, not true rotation unless you have a Mexican model (which I'll bet have non-directional or cross-ply tires on them). What manual are you using?

My manual says to cross rotate. I think the RE92's are a non-directional tire so that would be correct. Am I wrong? I don't have those tires anymore; I sold them.
