New AEM Intake

I was wondering, just installed my AEM CAI tonight, and I was noticing a slight smell of gas on first startup, does the ECU run rich at first, then tone down after it realizes the motor is less restricted?

Promise to post picks soon, after my other goodies are installed...

i installed my AEM CAI last week and i had no smell of any gases...it was a clean install...i found installin the AEM CAI was much more easier than takin off the head lights....

check if all engine rubber tubes are fully in the right metal tubes of the AEM CAI.

other member will help u out.....

mine was clean, small tight fit on the filter, due to foglamps...but all should be good...

Ill have it looked at tomorrow, headed to a friends to put springs and strub brace on.

Sounds awesome though, really deep, also noticed quite a bit of kick with just the intake... cant wait till my NST pully gets ordered.

All gone, dont have any problems now, just checked everything today. It all seems tight.

give it a week for the ecu to get used to it...

Install my AEM Yesterday and there was no smell at all !! Install is easy and quick !!
