I'm not so convinced that the only way to make a decent beam pattern is by retrofitting. I would like to see if the kit they used even had the glare sheilds also I wonder if the guy bothered to aim them down a bit to avoid that massive glare problem that he had? I dunno, agreed retrofitting or buying a car with stock HID is best but people have installed kits with no problems in the Yaris.

by the way are we ever going to get some decent aftermarket options for headlights? I am just not comfortable busting mine up and trying to retro fit.

Im too lazy to wait...I ordered my projector..right now trying to figure out what else to get, balast, bulbs, shroud, bezel..the whole thingy than im go to MA and have sam help me install it.

I was gonna wait for aftermarket headlights..but summer is now and I need my car to look good.

Well, I can't wait to see how it comes out. Good luck with the whole thing. I am still considering just trying a HID kit without the retrofit but my list is too long right now anyway to even do that. Sticking with the Osram for now. :frown:

I'm hoping we see some stuff before the year end that is decent but looking at the tails :barf: that are out there I'm not holding my breath.

I saw more & more of those plug & play HID kits on the road...

I also get to see more of those fitting H4 100W/90W bulbs on the road too... less glaring than HID & cheaper too... but wonder how long they last before frying the wires & fuse etc...
