In my first car, 93 Tercel most basic model available, I made the cigarette lighter power port "Always On". I want to do the same in my 08 3 door HB but I cannot, for the life of me, remember how I did it! I've scoured the forum but my searching has been unable to find anything. Any help, advice, or suggestions for this will be greatly appreciated!

The power outlet on the Yaris is acc switched along with quite a few other things. The easiest way to change it would be to clip the +12 wire to it (the grey wire) and feed it from a non switched source. The easiest way to do that is to use the constant 12 volt connection shown in my remote start DIY (link below). You will also want to add an inline fuse between that terminal and the outlet.

Thank you! You're description awakened the memories of when I've done this before. I will, however, go with your method. It is much better than what I did.
