Keyless entry randomly 'unprogrammed'!!

For seemingly no apparent reason whatsoever, after a completely normal, entirely uneventful drive, my lock remote suddenly didn't work.

I looked up the reprogramming procedure and went through the steps accordingly, and now it works fine again. Even from quite a distance.

Has anyone encountered this before? I have no idea what caused it to suddenly become unprogrammed...

2008, pre-facelift, 5 door YRX model - if that helps at all.

My old alarm system used to do that on occasion.
It was only on one fob, it was replaced under warranty and no more
problems.

Its happened to me once before. I pulled a fuse under the hood for a minute and put it back in. It worked. Not sure which one its been so long. A quick search on the net should help!

Thanks guys, I'll keep an eye on it, and if it happens again, I might look at getting a new fob! :)
