Sorry, I don't have photos as yet. I'm still unpacking from my move.

It's a two-door/three-door hatchback; dark gray metallic. Automatic transmission; cruise control; power locks and power steering/brakes.

It has 25,800 miles. Except for one trip, Wisconsin to Montana, it has not seen road salt. The two winters I owned it I had it in winter storage.

Price $10,999. The Craigslist (http://missoula.craigslist.org/cto/4626187303.html) ad is here. Please email me via the CL ad; I'm not here as much as I used to be.

It's ready for anything; and I can deliver it up to 200 miles away. Or help in pickup and/or loading/rigging a tow.

Gone...gone...gone.

Got that 4x4 Tacoma in its place.

If I'm learning anything, over the last eight years...it is that there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all car. The car that's perfect for 35-mile commutes, is silly when you go three miles to the shop...but occasionally have to cross the Continental Divide in winter.

G'luck with your Yarii. They're great cars - that few seem to want and those numbers are getting fewer. Depreciation, tracked by KBB and NADA, was killing me...lost a thousand bucks sitting around nine months in a sealed garage.

For whatever reason, nobody wants a little car like that. Not even a stylish little car; not even when it gets gas mileage nearly as good as a Prius. I guess Lee Iacocca was right: Most people want cars, not so much to get places, but to BE SEEN GOING places.

The Prius, for whatever reason, makes a statement. The Yaris doesn't seem to, even though it's not cheap, chintzy or cramped for the front seaters.

And, four-wheel-drive trucks? People out here are MAD for them! One thing is for sure...unless there's a complete upending of the market, I won't lose money with that Tacoma. Hell, even my beater 1999 Tacoma, which I'm keeping...has GAINED market value in the last eight months!
