Little SPL show today, 1x MECA. As far as SPL, I got 4th in S3 with a wopping 139.7 (lol). No excuses, I just wasnt setup for any sort of SPL.

At least the yaris looked pretty sweet? :cool:

My score was achieved with 2 10's and 800 watts, 0 time on the meter prior.

146.x was achieved with 4000 watts and 2 12's, but again without any real meter time.

Need more power and some meter time... I'll be ready later in the season :headbang: . The car can without a doubt do a 148+ at the headrest in s1.

Nice man. I used to hate having to do spl. I was straight sound quality. Do you remember when the old phoenix gold amps had the knob you could adjust the bass? I turned my all the way up at the end of the show and cranked the gains up and and 142 with 1 image 12..lol. Good times. Fried the voice coil though. The cone stayed in the down position.

most amps have a bass knob/bass boost/bass eq etc etc etc.. my advice is never to use that! A remote gain is awesome, though, kicker amps come with them.

139.7 is with the mic at the headrest, btw. The yaris is actually kinda loud in the kick/on the dash, from previous testing I'd imagine 145 or so in the kick (or more), but of course, that score doesnt matter with the 07 MECA rules :)
