Hi Guys.

Bought a LSD for my track yaris and the list is getting shorter for mods on the yaris. So i've been running the TTE compressor kit for a while and all just runs fine. But what if i want to get more boost from it? What are the main things to worry about. Looking to get about 200/225 whp which should be more than enough, more is just silly on a fwd car especially on the track. Any of you guys have had some experience with the following things?

ECU (Link/AEM?)
Connecting rods (Molnar?)
Headbolts (ARP?)
Low comp pistons 9.0:1 or 8.0:1 (CP?)
Smaller fixed compressor pulley (about 20/30% smaller?)
Larger injectors/Rail/Fuelpump/Swirlpot etc

What about the head, i presume the valves and springs could use an upgrade and what about the gearbox? How many HP/torque can a stock gearbox take before blowing up? also what about the rev limit on a stock gearbox?

Thanks!

there are plenty of threads on engine builds here. just use the search function. I would start in the Performance section.

ECU (Link/AEM?)

*** AEM FIC or better. If you can afford a standalone, do it.

Connecting rods (Molnar?)

*** I sell better rods than Molnar for less money. Or Crower.

Headbolts (ARP?)

*** ARP head stud kit is now in stock.

Low comp pistons 9.0:1 or 8.0:1 (CP?)

*** 9:1 -- 8 to 1 is way to low.

Smaller fixed compressor pulley (about 20/30% smaller?)

*** Sure, why not for a supercharger.

Larger injectors/Rail/Fuelpump/Swirlpot etc

*** AS NEEDED only. might size up the injectors, and a Walbro 255 or similar. return line is recommended.

What about the head, i presume the valves and springs could use an upgrade

*** ONLY if you are going to rev above the stock limit, otherwise that is a waste of money.

and what about the gearbox? How many HP/torque can a stock gearbox take before blowing up? also what about the rev limit on a stock gearbox?

*** I threw 357whp at mine and it never broke. I had a 7300 rpm rev limit. Your rev limit is determined by where your power curve ends, NOT anything else.
