UPS shipped and left at front door.
There is nothing in my front door... this is real lame if they left it at the lobby area of the apartment complex.

The good thing is you can file a UPS claim. The bad thing is it was delivered according to the shipping record obtained from UPS. Unless it was required signature, they did exactly what their job was; ship and deliver according to shippers instructions. They will investigate, and if your claim is denied, they will contact the shipper but that doesn't mean they will replace it. Sorry for your loss and hope they work with you on this.

Definitely file the claim. It has to be filed from the shipper though.

I would at least expect the UPS driver to drop it off in front of the apt door? not the complex main entrance??
anyways, since this was shipped to a friend in NJ, i will have him check out see if he finds the box. As of yesterday, it was not seen in front of his apartment door.
I will contact seller if anything then..

In such case, tracking number would not say "delivered". Right now, it says delivered, and it says left at front door..

It's clear in the tracking details that it was left at the front door in NJ. Did you not drill down into the details before posting this thread?

Well.. It was shipped to an apartment complex. It was stupid they left it in the lobby area instead of the apt door.

Holy crap people. Stop speculating as to what happened and where it is. UPS will pay a claim on a stolen delivery almost unquestionably. I own a UPS Store and file these types of claims weekly. It's not UPSs fault nor the shipper, it's the fault of the damn thief that probably took it. Check on e-bay for it and look at the sellers location when you do find it. I do that quite often for packages that are reported stolen that I have shipped and I knew what was in them. Here's the downside to reporting a stolen delivery. Your address gets blacklisted as a signature only address. You will never again be able to get something from UPS just left by your door or any door without a signature. This rule isn't set in stone but happens about 90% of the time so UPS doesn't have to absorb any more losses from that address. Before I get flamed, I've owned my UPS Store for 7 years and have seen this hundreds of times especially around Christmas (thieves following trucks) and more especially at apartment buildings.
