Did you have the odometer matched? I swapped mine out but didn't bother since MI only requires you to note the existence of the discrepancy, not the difference.

I matched the odo for him.

Forgive my ignorance, but how is the "Yaris S gauge cluster" different from the base gauge cluster? Tachometer?

For the US market, prior to 2010 only "S" Yaris had the tach.

Wow I haven't seen a S cluster in a long time, you , I and few others have these and not the Canadian ones.

Now I'm still hoping for a digital LHD one

Big thanks to CTscott for programming the correct mileage and shipping it down here for me! I know it's more less just a cosmetic mod but I missed not having a tach and didn't want to do a non-matching aftermarket piece. Install was really a piece of cake!

Seriously, how'd you get it? I would love to get one. Thanks!

I forgot, is there such a thing as instrument cluster for a manual Yaris 2, with tach?

I had picked that one up from a local junkyard quite a while ago. The S ones are very hard to find, as there are not many of them around, let alone wrecked.

I can also convert Canadian ones to have he odometer increment in miles and have the outer ring of the speedometer indicate mph, rather than km/h. The Canadian ones are way easier to find, as tachs were not just for S models up there.

Yeah its pretty rare to see any S yaris. Came down to luck for me to snatch it off of the forums.

Only 2010+ for the US.

I have an 07 Yaris hatchback, auto trans, non abs.

If I wanted to do this upgrade, what cluster do I need to look for? Anyone have a part # or which model yaris to look for to get a cluster out of? Will a sedan cluster work in my hatchback?

Thanks

Sedan cluster is a different shape and has a different connector. You need specifically an 07 or 08 S cluster without ABS. I don't have the part number handy, but there is only one cluster that meets that spec.

For non direct solutions, you can use an 09-11 cluster, but all 09+ have ABS, so the ABS and BRAKE lights would have to be disabled or they would always be on. For 2010-2011 the TRAC light would also have to be disabled.

Cool, thanks for the answer.

Which of the clusters you have listed above also have the cruise and foglight indicators that I could also utilize when I add these options to my car?

None would work for cruise indicator for your 07 (as the ECM on your 07 would not send the proper message to the cluster to light it). All would have the foglight indicator, as your current cluster does as well.
