Problems with My RS - lights problems

Hi All,

Recently i have a strange problem with my Vitz, sometimes when i try to switch on the side lamps/fog lamps and rear fog lamps or either or it simply nothing happens... Not even the interior dashboard light's on indicator/clusters switch on.. If i try multiple times than it works :iono:

Also i have noticed that occasionally when i open my car using my key remote it locks its self automatically after few seconds :help:


Does anyone have ever had this issue?

Further to the above post, the bright and hid works perfectly even when the side lamps, rear break lights etc do not work...

Do the brake lights work when the fog light switch is not on?

Or, rather than the brake lights, do you mean that the tail lights do not light up when the issue is occurring?

Yes the tail lights do not work as well when this occurs, i switch on the side-lamps etc and nothing works apart my bright and HID...

I think the switch internals of the fog light switch are failing.
