Radio screen messed up, then back to normal

Got in my car this morning, radio worked fine but the screen had some strange letters and a green back screen with nothing else. TUrned the car off and back on and it was back to normal. Thoughts? It's never done this before and it was 55 degrees this morning. Thanks!

It happens with the cold. At least, my screen was slow and did not show up properly when I still had my OEM radio in the first winter.

Confirmed, it's done that since the first winter on mine, brand new from dealership. LCD screens are known to do weird stuff like that. Only happens at almost freezing temperatures and below for me.
