Today i installed gc8 subaru struts, with ebay coilover sleeves, and its a pretty stiff ride with plenty of lows. ill post pictures later with my car cleaned up a bit. note how close the perch is to the mount vs yaris

How did you come to pick subaru struts?

i had a legacy and noticed the perch for the spring was lower and immediately thought moar lower. then i thought maybe a vehicle weighing twice as much might have more dampening so i threw them in!

Do the bolts on the new strut line up with the three holes in the strut tower on the Yaris?

iirc
there are only two holes in the yaris but i swapped the top hats over

Aah, clever. How hard is it to find the crash/camber bolt spacing on struts?

the results! excuse the dirt and cracked out bumper, as a rural paper route is NOT forgiving to a slammed yaris:bellyroll:

Interesting...

I need to find some shorter struts for my tercel...if those fit the Yaris then they are way too big for the terkle spindle
