Hello everyone, I recently installed a typhoon k & n intake on my Toyota Yaris hatchback 2010. The engine works fine but sometimes and repeatedly when I am in a stop the engine starts vibrating very rough until it reaches q peak and stops vibrating, it vibrates the whole car. I have tried tightening all the hoses but that doesn't seem to fix the problem. Any ideas on what it might be? Thank you in advanced.

Might have the IAT sensor slightly misaligned on the intake tube?

How recent was recently?

If you had the battery disconnected while installing the intake, then the ECU is in learn mode and the car will idle very rough, nearly stalling out, until the air/fuel mixture is reset. This process takes some time.

Yeah mine did that too - you have to disconnect the battery's negative terminal. It should run perfect after that;)

Mine does something similar every since I got the car. The rpms fall to around 500 and will kick back up to 800 and idle there. At some point at the traffic light it may fall to 500 rpm again and do the same thing. It has never caused problems just something I notice from time to time. I have a 2010 manual and a cone KN filter.
