all depends on how far you want to go really.
Im looking at 5500-6500 in parts alone to the motor and thats without port and polish on the head, and all the labor done by me. thats including forced injection, cams etc.
but that also includes me buying and making a custom intake manifold and maybe a few other pieces others wouldnt like arp head bolts and upgraded exhaust manifold bolts. with labor you can factor that prolly closer to 7500-8000$ usd.

Im trying to achieve 180+ hp, really wanting to hit 220+ but that might require a lil more work idk well see lol.

I was told our motors don't see real gains from a port & polish as they already flow well from factory

This is true. Minimal gains on port and polish, more gains with a different cam and higher rpms.

Cams I am definitely considering Jun cams, its a bit to cough up for a set for a
on a 1.5 ha ha buuut I feel in the end Ill need them anyways
I wont waste my time with the port and polish tho ty :)

For the amount of power you want you don't need cams. Boost is all you need.

If I dont achieve the the hp I want thats fine to. Just a good bit more power and throttle and I can be happy. Im still not to sure what all I will do in the end I am just planning for a just in case with most things. If I have a higher $ plan in mind and I spend less I feel better about it even if it is only 500$ lol. Im still not sold on the forced induction. I am a lil tempted to try a all motor build and see what I can crank out.
still talking to some people who have built both and getting some ideas and seeing which I will be pleased with more in the end
