radio presets cleared

I have a 2007 Yaris. Whenever I start my car, the radio preset channels get cleared/erased and the clock goes to 1:00. It only happens when I try to turn the engine on.... if I put the key in and turn part way to turn radio power on only (not engine), the radio settings are kept in memory. Any ideas how to fix this? Thank you.

It sounds like your battery may be getting really weak, to where the voltage drops so low that the radio resets when the starter is cranking.
