Has anyone found a rear sway bar from another car that fits 2nd gen yaris's? I'm assuming aftermarket is the way to go, but you never know what will pop up

At the price of a new TRD rear sway why bother they have dropped in price so much but to answer ur question ..its something that would require lots of modifying cos so far have not seen anything that would just bolt on from other cars.

sent from my S4 on Mars

This is too bad. If there was a bar that could swap from the junkyard I would have bought one and put it on for this years auto x season. Maybe someone else will chime in on a possible lead. Some other small fwd car that comes stock with a rear bar like a corolla

If you look at the rear axle beam and how the rear bars work, I strongly believe that you could simply weld a piece of steel to reinforce the spring perch and would achieve exactly the same effect with less weight.

I see what you are saying. It would appear to work, but would not be reversible without some serious work.

Depending on the geometry used, welding a pipe with no bends would almost make the suspension not move at all left to right
