hello all i'm new here , my girlfriend bought a yaris HB 2007 in the last 3 month and now she want to pimp it :P

she want to change her spoiler , the smallest one from factory, and now she want a big wing, so i found her the toyota yaris hb rally spoiler , the big one.

my question is that , would it be a straight fit in her original spoiler hole? that would make my mind from getting it or not.
thanks for the reply

I have this spoiler on my car.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2006-2009-TOYOTA-YARIS-HATCHBACK-REAR-SPOILER-PAINTED-1E7-SILVER-STREAK-ABS-/331262091990?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3AYaris&hash=item4d20c262d6&vxp=mtr

It required drilling six holes in my hatch to attach. two 1/2" diameter on top, two 5/6" just above the rear glass, and two 7/16" on the underside of the hatch at the top. It's held on by two long bolts that go thru the underside of the hatch thru two holes and screws into the spoiler. the other two holes above the back glass are for some plastic alignment clips. It also uses two sided tape under the mounting point of the spoiler. It's actually pretty sturdy.

Not sure how your spoiler is attached, but if it is the small spoiler, It wouldn't surprise me if it's held on with two sided tape.

This isn't my car, but same spoiler, so you know how it looks mounted.

When shopping for my 2014 a couple of months ago, I had several requirements...5-speed manual....hand crank windows...and white or silver. There were only 7 that fit that criteria in the U.S. Some had spoilers, and some didn't. In order to make a better comparison re value, I looked into (at a local Toyota dealer) what it would cost to add the OEM spoiler. The parts department can pull the spoiler up on a diagram that shows where the mounting holes are, etc. I would think your local dealer would have the same, and that dealers would also have a similar diagram for the 2nd Gen for comparison purposes.

It definitely is racier looking than the OEM one that came on my 2014.
