yes I did today :P. I have put a 2000w peak 400w rated Sony XS-GTR121L subwoofer 12inch with a Pioneer gm-d8601 amplifier. What i also did was install a switch in a sense that I can turn on or off the sub whenever i want to listen to the music without it. If you need pictures of the setup not a problem ;)

First thing, sorry it took me time to get you the pics. I got very busy.
Things you should notice, the first picture shows the connection an idiot did, what he did was take a live connection from the battery to the amp without taking a connection from the stereo (it is the U connection in the picture). What this resulted is even when i turn the car off the amp stays on. I learnt the hard way after trying to turn the car on and it didnt. Took it to another guy to check it out, he laid another cable (which the first guy didnt) from the amp to the stereo so once the ignition/contact is on the amp goes on, acts like a switch.
I donno about your stereo or how its done in your area but here, they put a fuse for the amp on the positive connection. I took a picture of it. Lastly, i didnt have time to take a picture but for factory stereo, they use an adapter. If you want more detailed pictures I can arrange that of the amp (because i took the pics at night bad focus) or the adapter. Not a problem. I hope these help

The remote wire is important. You also need to be aware that when you use more than two amplifiers, get a relay for the remote turn on duties. That'll protect the source if there's a short.

My setup is only 1 amp for 1 sub.. enough bass for daily driving or cruising. U suggest i also add a relay? Is that a fuse or? Explain further please..

If you have never installed a sub or an amp, you may need a little more help than a few pics on a forum. If you don't really have a knowledge of car audio, I suggest getting help or doing some much more in depth research.
