Im looking to reduce my fender gap and retain as much ride quality as possible. What would you guys suggest for this? Some coilovers with dampening adjustability or some combination of shocks and springs? Not looking to slam it, just to reduce my fender gap while still being a practical daily

I'm lowered 1.75" and I still have a big gap. At least, too big to my liking. But lowering more means less practical as a daily driver.

If I remember right, the TRD springs lowers 1", or maybe just 0.75" i don't remember...

I'm in the same boat as Illusion. I'm lowered about the same but the wheel gap is too much. I've just purchased some coilovers and waiting for them to arrive

why?

Honestly unless you are planning on racing coilovers are extreme. A good set of springs and aftermarket shocks will be less expensive and less harsh. The old popular combo was Tokico blues and MI springs, but I think tokico stopped making the blues.

Could i run springs till my shocks gave out and then replace them with new shocks or is the bounce gonna be terrible?

I have the MI springs, and ride is good for street/daily driver with the OEM shocks.

Eibach Sportlines with stock shocks, if you want a rough idea on how they feel fill up your tires to 45psi and go for a drive through a bumpy road. To me personally, the Sportlines feel like that, you will know they are there at all times. They are definitely worth it, gives the car a whole new look and still functional.
